About our Speaker:
Dan Bogoevski is a supervisor in the Division of Surface Water at the Ohio EPA Northeast Regional Office. Bogoevski has been with Ohio EPA for 32 years, working in the stormwater program almost from its inception. Currently, he supervises inspectors in three of Ohio EPA’s Northeast, Northwest, and Southeast regional offices and, is responsible to ensure compliance with NPDES stormwater regulations in those regions. He has developed permit language and a number of policy and guidance documents for the Ohio EPA stormwater program. He is a Certified Erosion Sediment and Storm Water Inspector and Certified Professional in Municipal Stormwater Management.
Bogoevski holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, an MS in Chemical Engineering from the Ohio State University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. In 2008, he received the Wayne S. Nichols Award from the Water Management Association of Ohio for his demonstrated leadership in the NPDES storm water permit program and in 2014, he received the L.T. “Tom” Haggery Award from the Ohio Water Environment Association for his work on the NE Ohio Storm Water Training Council. In 2024, he won
the Legacy Conservationist award from the Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District and in 2025 he was the proud recipient of the Ohio Stormwater Association’s Award for Individual Excellence.
