ABOUT THE CONFERENCE THEME

The problems we face managing our water resources in Ohio may have changed throughout the years, but so has our understanding of and ability to identify and address them. We are now better equipped to handle today’s water management challenges and embrace technology and research to guide us. Looking ahead,
we approach the future with optimism, recognizing how far we have come and grateful to all who have shaped Ohio's water history.

In 2024 we are celebrating two significant milestones - the 75th anniversary of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the 50th anniversary of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
