Speaker Bio: Dr. Jim Stagge is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geodetic Engineering at The Ohio State University. His research examines hydrologic extremes, environmental history, climate change, and water management, with a particular focus on how statistical methods and hydrologic models reveal long-term trends and abrupt extremes in the hydrologic cycle. His work to understand and improve water resilience has included collaborations with regional water managers, paleoclimate experts, and ancient historians.
